I’m sorry that your experience with your claim and State Farm did not meet your expectations. We understand how frustrating a loss and the claims process can be, and my team made multiple efforts to assist you and help address your concerns.

Unfortunately, neither my staff nor I will tolerate the profane and verbally abusive, and threatening language you continued to use while speaking with us. We genuinely tried to help you, but we could not have a productive conversation while being yelled at and repeatedly subjected to profanity. We are always willing to work through difficult situations with our customers, but we expect our team to be treated with the same basic respect and professionalism that we extend to others.

Claims are handled by State Farm’s claims department, and there are aspects of the claim process that a local agent does not have the authority to control or change. That does not mean we “vanish” when a claim occurs. My team and I regularly assist customers with communication, questions, and navigating the claims process wherever we are able.

I understand that you are unhappy with the outcome of your experience, and you are certainly entitled to express that dissatisfaction. However, frustration with a claim does not justify verbally abusing the people who are trying to assist you.

We will continue to advocate for our customers and do everything within our authority to help them when they experience a loss, while also maintaining a respectful environment for our employees.
